Seagull S6
Seagull S6

The seagull s6 what do we really think of this guitar?
We are looking at beginner guitars and this is the most expensive out of the beginner guitars that we have looked at but in this price range all I can say is it's worth the extra. I have looked at many forums and they all say this is the best guitar by far for the money. I even had a look at the reviews on amazon and out of the 17 reviews posted it had 5/5 from all the people that had posted reviews ( I don't think I have ever seen such positve feedback on any product)

So why is everyone raving about Seagull S6?
Firstly it's the sound that this acoustic guitar makes (i've put a video in this post so you can hear the quality). Next it's how it's made and also it's easy to play, well once you get the hang of playing the guitar.
There are so many positive things to say about this guitar. The S6 has a solid cedar top with wild cherry sides and back, finished in a semi-gloss lacquer. The saddle and bridge are both made of rosewood. A Tusq nut and compensated saddle complete the package. Because of the cedar and cherry wood, the sound is warm, dark, and full.
Tuning Made Easy
You may have wondered why it is that even after you have carefully tuned each string, it is often necessary to go back and make further adjustments on a few of the strings. This is because the neck moves slightly as you change the tension of the strings. Therefore you don't just tune the strings, you "balance" the neck at the same time. The tapered headstock on Seagull guitars provides straight string pull, which minimizes the neck twisting effect. This ensures that it will be easier to get your guitar in tune and keep it that way.
List Price for this guitar is $497.00 but have a look around you can probably find it on the web for about $400.00.
It may seem a lot for your first guitar but if you fall in love with playing the acustic guitar this may be the only guitar you will ever want to own, so in the long run the seagul s6 will save you time and money.

Winner of several awards, the S6 is the instrument that best represents the Seagull philosophy. The S6 is affordable and gives entry-level players the opportunity to experience the great feel and superb sound provided by a hand-finished neck, solid cedar top and genuine lacquer finish. Gorgeous domestic wild cherry back and sides provide a unique tone between the warmth of mahogany with the crisp definition of maple.
