The Epiphone DR-100 is a nicely put together acoustic guitar and would be a perfect beginners Guitar. This guitar has a Spruce top and Mahogany body and neck . The DR-100 is an affordable instruments that doesn't sacrifice quality for economy. The Epiphone DR-100 has chrome hardware, precision construction, and a comfortable Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays.

A great beginners guitar at a great price. The only downside with this guitar is that some people have found that it goes out of tune quite easlier but looking at many of the guitar forums if you change the strings to Elixir medium Strings and the problem seems to disappear.

Sound:

  • For the money i don't think you could find a better sounding guitar

Quality:

  • There has been complaints of this guitar not staying in tune. My local guitar shop set up the action and strung it up with some Elixir medium phosphors and this thing stays in tune forever.

  • Looks as good as a low end Martin
